The “King Tide”, or highest tide of the year was yesterday and aside from it being a little chilly, we had calm winds and sun which made for some easy photography. I took some photos of the high tide around 10:45am, then came back just after sunset to shoot the lowest tide I could before I got too dark. The tide still dropped another foot after the darker low tide pictures were taken. For those who don’t recognize the location, this is on the Old Town boardwalk in Eureka, CA, between the foot of C street and F street, December 13th, 2012.
Great pics, Mike – I’m impressed with your photography! Dennis & I have such great memories of your town.
